    It's always interesting to try to work out what's causing a signal to fall or rise. The main one that's worked is the solar stream & it's path over the Clarke belt as the Clarke Belt rotates in the solar stream's path- the position of the satellite, the aim of the main reflector, allowing for the ionosphere deflecting the solar stream around it [thankfully].
